Issue 1, Imperials

The families of the Emperor and his closest followers. The original Imperial line was founded by the Kami Hantei, and the Imperial families were formed by his followers Seppun and Otomo. Miya was granted a family at the beginning of the reign of Hantei Genji. The Toturi dynasty began following the death of Hantei XXXIX during the Clan War and the end of the Hantei Dynasty.

Issue 2, Minor Clans

A minor clan is a clan recognized by the Emperor of Rokugan, formed after the foundation of the Empire. Minor clans are officially under the Emperor’s protection, and the Great Clans are forbidden to begin an offensive war against them - this does not prevent their involvement in many of Rokugan’s great conflicts.

Issue 3, Nonhumans

Musha Shugyo Issue 3 Nonhumans Cover The Naga, the Nezumi, the Kenku, the Ningyo and many more. Though the humans rule the mortal world there are many other races hidden throughout and around Rokugan and despite common belief not all of them are demonic minions of Fu Leng, many of them once ruled vast civilisations of their own that rivelled even the Emerald Empire.
